2 and 3 star rated hotels.

amenities. Almost all of the
hotels have a restaurant,
and if it does not it will
have an arrangement with a
very close restaurant. You
can expect to be able to
store your bike either in a
special storage area or in
your room. All of the hotels
used are bicycle friendly.
You will stay in a good
hotel with excellent
services.
How will I get to the
starting point of the Tour?
Our starting point is
Airport Roissy Charles de
Gaulle Paris, if you arrive
on your own, you have to be
with your group and/or
communicate with us.
How far is a kilometer?

mile. (Ex: 50 km is about 31
miles.) All French distance
markers are in kilometers,
so to help you track
progress, all of our
distances are quoted in
kilometers.

alone?
No, yet you can be
independent. You're never
totally alone. The daily
activities are organized and
scheduled for the entire

knowing you will return to a
room reserved for you,
including breakfast. You

guide maps providing all the
information you'll need in
explicit terms so that you
won't get lost. We will

How to Choose
How hard are the
cycling trips, am I capable?
These trips, being
self-guided, require you to
be able to make the distance
involved. If you cannot,
then you need to call for a
taxi because we do not
provide SAG support.
These are days where you
return to the same hotel
where you start the day.
This means that people who
are less strong can do
shorter days than stronger
persons. It also allows a
day off, non-active
participants to come along,
and is a great way for
families and groups of
varying abilities/interests
to do the same trip
together. These tours offer
everything from easy to
challenging rides, (Levels 1-3) but are usually rated
as easy because it
accommodate easy.
Several factors such as age,
resting heart rate, max
heart rate, and weight will
impact everyone's ability to
engage in cycling. You
should know what you can do,
and if you are not sure, you
should see a doctor.
We recommend that persons
over 55 and new to the
activity you intend to
engage in visit a doctor
first to get an ok to train
and take such a vacation. We
believe these
recommendations will prepare
you for your tour; however
we also recognize that some
people can do almost nothing
and come out and have no
problems. Ultimately, self
evaluation is VERY
IMPORTANT. Daily work will
prepare you better for the
daily exercise you will
experience on tour and
prepare your muscles to
recover daily for the next
ride/walk.
What will I do if I get
lost?
LBDC provides a 1(one) hour
prepaid phone card for each
participant; each
participant is responsible
for his/her phone card. You
can call your family and
staff.
Also LBDC cycling Tour de
France provides ID card with
all Staff phone number and
daily hotel. Each group will
have a cell phone.
If I already have my airfare
ticket, Can I join Tour de
France? Will I pay the full
price?
Of course you can join our
trip, but you have to be at
our starting point ( Airport
Roissy Charles de Gaules) if
not , join us at the first
hotel list, having your own
